Flower Bed and Weed Control
Moscarino Outdoor Creations Inc. offers a flowerbed weed control program to help eliminate most of the weeds in your flowerbeds for our residential and commercial maintenance clients. Our program consists of four initial applications throughout the season to help minimize weed growth. In the following years, you may reduce your applications based on the conditions of your planting beds.
Our program is intended to HELP REDUCE the number of weeds in your flowerbeds. We cannot and do not guarantee control of all weeds. With your help of proper mulching, watering and pulling of occasional weeds, you will see great results with our program. Remember, our staff is highly trained and familiar with most common garden plants. However, if you have any wildflower areas or any uncommon garden plants, this must be brought to our attention prior to applying chemicals. Also, if there are weeds growing into or through a desirable plant, we may not be able to control the growth of these weeds without injuring this plant or neighboring plants.
Early Spring Pre-emergent application: The first treatment of our program will be a granular or liquid preventer. This kills the weed seeds from germinating. This application does not control established weeds or perennials.
Late Spring Post-emergent application: Our landscape technician will walk the property and spot treat any weeds that were not initially killed with the pre-emergent application.
Summer Pre-emergent application: Similar to our early spring application, but targets other weeds that germinate in late fall and early winter.
Fall Post-emergent application: Targets any remaining weeds with post-emergent spot treatment.
